Valentine’s Day falls on Ash Wednesday this year.  We would like to have snacks (cookies, cupcakes, beverages) for the 7th graders.  The students would have them during lunch on Tuesday, February 13.  As the class parents are not in charge of bringing in snacks and beverags for Valentine’s Day, I request that parents voluntarily send in something for the cstudents to enjoy on the 12th.  If you would like to provide a snack and/or beverage for the class, please send them in with your child on the 12th.  The students I am sure will be most appreciative, as will I.

Monday of Catholic Schools Week is Service Day.

Sacred Heart is collecting items to donate to the Archdiocese of Newark Mercy House.  The Mercy House provides food, clothing and essential items for the needy.

7A is collecting canned tuna, salmon, and chicken.  Please send in the cans Monday, January 29.

Students need to make up all missing assignments, labs, projects by Wednesday, November 22.  The first trimester will close shortly.  Although we prefer students to relax over the Thanksgiving recess and have no assignments on which to work, those students who do not remit missing work by Wednesday must take advantage of the days off to work on the assignments.  Lab sheets and directions on are google classroom.

collect 5 different leaves and bring them in Thursday, October 19

Algebra I: an HSPT test was given to the class.  Students are to take it within 45 minutes.  Take the test in a simulated test environment:

quiet place in home, or go to the library

work on test, time is 45 minutes, no breaks, do not look anything up, ask questions of anyone; no interruptions.

The test will be reviewed October 20 in class.
