Sacred Heart School offers students in the fifth through eighth grades an opportunity to try their hands at acting.

Each year, interested students can try out for the musical production by doing a cold reading and singing a song. Auditions are usually held in January and practices are four days a week after school. Students can also participate in the musical as members of the stage crew.

The show takes place in late March or early April and is presented three times: once as a free show for the senior citizens in town, once for parents and families and once for the student body.

The drama program at Sacred Heart is run by Mrs. Rooney.
