This week we were working hard, hard, hard!
In math we completed chapter 1 and took some assessments. Next week we will begin chapter 2 and will begin learning about addition!
In reading we worked on short o words and reviewed short i and short a words. We are really progressing quickly and becoming some amazing readers!!!
In Science we talked about the changes we are starting to see in the fall season.
We also learned all about fire safety in preparation for our field trip on Tuesday!
Some reminders:
- Field trip to fire station is on TUESDAY. WE NEED AN EXTRA HAND SO IF YOU HAVE PROTECTING GODS CHILDREN AND WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
- Demarest farms field trip is on FRIDAY. Please send BAGGED lunch that day. IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO JOIN US AT THE FARM YOU MUST HAVE PROTECTING GODS CHILDREN IN ORDER TO DO SO.
