The floors are gleaming, the rooms are decorated, the desks are empty and waiting to be filled...another wonderful school year is upon us!
We're all looking forward to Sept. 9th when the first through eighth grades report for the first day of classes. Enrollment is up, and that's the most positive statement we can make about this new school year. Spread the news that Sacred Heart School is very much open for business.
We begin with four new teachers: Ms. Maria Leccese in PK4;Mrs. Joyce Gardner- Gr. 1B; Mr. Anthony Liguori, Jr.-Music; and Mrs. Toni Ann Devlin- Resource Room. Mrs. Suzanne Stapinski retired at the end of June. Her long-time presence in Small Blessings will be sorely missed. Mrs. Maria Sancilio will be the PK3 teacher in the "big room."
We are in need of a new boiler since our 55 year old one needs replacing. Hopefully the new system will be installed before the beginning of the heating season.
I am looking forward to seeing you as you drop off your children for the first day. Be sure to wave to me as you pass by! If you would like to stop in for coffee in the cafeteria, you would be most welcome.
