From the Desk of the Principal

Dear Parents and Guardians:

I just want to let you know that I am waiting for approval from the Archdiocese on our Re-Opening Plan before I can post it.    Hopefully I will hear from them soon.

I also want you to know that I will not overload the classrooms with new students.   I am keeping the maximum at 17.

I am opening a a second 3rd grade so there will be 3A and 3B.   At this time 4th grade is the only single class.   Grades 5-8 are all double grades.  No class will be larger than 17 in a room at a time. ( most at this point are less than that.)   Initially the 6th grade A and B were going to be together for 3 classes, but that is no longer the case.   They are divided for all classes.   I just want to assure you that despite all the comments on facebook and Positively Lyndhurst,  I am limiting the number of students and will then create a waiting list.

I don’t want you to worry that the classes will be too large to keep the children distant.   I also want you to know that there will be more  Catholic school closures in our Archdiocese before school opens.   Sacred Heart is NOT one of them.   We are alive and well, thanks to all of you.

I will continue to keep you updated.

Mrs. Durocher
